Voices of Recovery was founded in 2008 in Tucson, Arizona.
Voices of Recovery as an organization has recovery aid groups listed.
People in long-term recovery, their families and friends share their recovery stories and advocacy successes to give hope to others and demonstrate the power and reality of long-term recovery.
We are here for you. Please contact us any time needed.

I must tell you how much I appreciated the recent presentation of Voices of Recovery to the Tubac Thursday Morning Breakfast Forum. All of your speakers not only did a great job of describing their experiences of struggling with drug addiction, but their analyzing of their experiences facilitated a greater understanding of the dilemmas faced by addicts and recovering addicts.
If there is any way I can be of help to Voices of Recovery in continuing their excellent work, please feel free to contact me.
Very sincerely,

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Just as all of the other high schools in Tucson struggle with substance abuse among
their student populations, Sabino has its own issues, and so this year we - as a
follow up to our hosting a Community of Concern Program in November - decided to
invite Paul Appleby from COPE to speak at a morning assembly here at our school.
The reason for this letter is to let you know that the information presented at
our assembly on Friday 16, 2010 was both timely and useful.
Mr. Appleby and the individuals in recovery that spoke to my Sabino students were
open and candid, and in doing so promoted and atmosphere in which students felt comfortable.
Often young people listen more attentively when they are being spoken to by someone
near their age, so to have the young man and woman share their substance abuse stories
at our assembly made for very good listeners.
I recommend COPE/Voices of Recovery to any other schools who are searching for tools
with which to hopefully prevent any more of Tucson’s youth from getting involved
in substance abuse.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 520-584-7704.
Sincerely,
Valerie Payne, Principal
